Dinosaur animation of a Velociraptor for an augmented reality installation

This CGI-Velociraptor was a done for an augmented reality installation done for Triad Berlin. It was part of an augmented reality installation inside the Europa Amusement Park for Camp David. This installation provides the visitor the unique ability to interact with different jungle creatures, namely the shown velociraptor and a bengalian tiger.

Both animals were rendered in various animation loops that seamlessly blended and provided mulitple unique combinations. To improve the blending with the realfootage physical data was mapped precisely: lens informations, lighting conditions and other onsite factors. These data then was meticulously reconstructed in virtual 3d-space to facilitate a true immersive experience.
