competition school Sankt Gallen - gymnasium

competition school Sankt Gallen - classroom

The classrooms being restructured in natural materials

The humble design of the extensions to this school in St Gallen presented a beautiful commision for us by Rother architects, Berlin. The choice of straight, natural materials as concrete and fir-wood creates an unambitious design of stark clarity. Puristic and orthogonal the architecture yet remains friendly and leaves amble space for flexible usage by the classes.

We thank Rother architects for the great cooperation.
